Payments & Security

Payment verification happens server-side, not in the browser.

Orders rely on payment-provider webhooks and server-side verification rather than trusting information sent from the client. Card data is handled by a specialized payment provider rather than stored directly by the application unless there's a specific, properly designed reason to do otherwise.

We target Google's current Core Web Vitals — LCP under 2.5s, INP under 200ms, CLS under 0.1 — as engineering targets, alongside crawlable product pages, structured data, and clean category/pagination handling for larger catalogs.
